Purpose
Completing the Resiliency Questionnaire will help you understand and assess how resilient you are.Your responses will indicate several relevant protective factors, and the capacity to achieve positive outcomes despite stressors. Thereby, serving as valuable information in assessing your resilience.

Instructions
1) Complete The Resiliency Questionnaire. For each statement, circle the response that best describes you. Download the questionnaire: Resilience Assessment Questionnaire pdf. Download Resilience Assessment Questionnaire pdf. This is an abbreviated version of the questionnaire.
2) Write a reflective essay (a minimum of 250 words, typed, double-spaced) describing How Resilient Are You? Include in your essay responses to the following questions:

- Describe a time when you put pressure on someone else.
- Give a brief, real-life example of when you were faced with a problem or stress that demonstrated your resilience.

Context
Resilience is the ability to bounce back from difficulty, to navigate challenges with awareness, intention, and skill. Resilience keeps us on track until we reach our goals, it allows us to deal with difficult situations, and it helps us to grow by encouraging us to look at the positives and to manage stress. Resilience develops naturally through connections to others, balanced self-care, and an open and engaged mind.
