How-to Zoom for Office Hours

I will be using Zoom for Office Hour Appointments (T/TH 2:00PM to 4:00PM).

Here's a guide on how-to talk to me during these times.

To start on Zoom, go to zoom.us. You DO NOT need to sign up for an account. 

Click on "Join a Meeting" in the upper right corner.

For "Meeting ID or Personal Link Name", type in emilyhaddad. When you click join, you will be either be prompted to download the desktop app or a mobile app to support the Zoom meeting. 

NOTE: If you would like to download the app in advance of meeting with me, go to https://laccd.zoom.us/download and select which version of the app you need.

Once you've joined my meeting, you'll see a prompt like this:

I will be notified that you are trying to join (it's like knocking on the door to my office!) and will let you in.

You can talk with me even if you don't have a webcam. You can share your computer screen with me if you have questions about your coursework. You can just ask general questions or let me know about exceptional circumstances so that I can figure out how to help you.
