Instructions:
For each of the sentences provided, identify if it is a proper sentence, a fragment or incomplete sentence, or a run-on sentence or comma splice.
Remember:
A simple sentence has a single idea using a subject and an action.
A compound sentence combines two complete ideas or simple sentences using a conjunction, a word that joins the ideas.
A complex sentence combines a bit of information, often at the beginning of the sentence, with a complete idea or simple sentence using a conjunction and a comma.
Tips:
You may take the quiz as many times as you like. Each time you will have eight questions, just not necessarily the same eight questions.
