Some definitions for literary terms that we have covered and a few we have not:
Persona is a literary device. It is the voice assumed by a writer, not necessarily his or her own. Persona reflects the author's attitude toward the reader.
Allusion is a reference to another piece of literature, to a cultural or historical person, or to an event.
Conflict is a struggle between two opposing forces or characters.
Diction is a writer’s choice of words.
Syntax is the order in which a writer places words in a sentence, the order in which the writer reveals information.
