Online learning requires different skills and study habits than traditional, face-to-face classrooms. I want you to be successful in this class, whether it is your first online course or your fifteenth! Please complete at least one of the tutorials listed below. Regardless of your familiarity with online classes, I guarantee you'll learn something new! These tutorials were developed by California's Online Education Initiative--I think you'll really like them!
Once you've taken a look at the tutorial, click on the button above (if on the website) or on the tab to the right (if on the app) that says "submit assignment", copy and paste the URL link to your favorite one and then leave a comment and let me know what you learned. If you navigate away from the orientation module, click on "modules" on the navigation panel to the left. If you wish to return the home page, click on "home" at the top of the page. If you're using the app, use the drop-down menu at the top of the screen.

After all, in this class, your computer is your virtual classroom! In this class, you'll need reliable computer access to interact in weekly discussions, complete weekly lessons, and submit your projects. Since we have many short videos and several films to watch in this class, you'll need an internet connection that will allow you to stream videos. In addition, you'll need access to a computer with audio and video capability to interact in the virtual classroom.
Please review the following resources to ensure your technology is up to the task of supporting your online learning. Computer issues are not a valid excuse for missing assignments.
