Number of coursework hours and attendance
Plan a minimum of 8 - 12 hours per week (based on a 15 week semester) for your coursework. While online learning courses provide flexibility in time, geography, and travel, the work required for successful completion is identical to that for the face-to-face course.
Your attendance is tracked through weekly discussion posts. You must participate weekly and remain active in the class. Continued absences may result in your being dropped from the course. Questions should be posted in the questions forum, however, we will also have optional office hours every Wednesday evening at 7pm.
For this 3-credit course students should plan on devoting:
- several hours reviewing the Lecture notes, Modules, and Videos
- several hours on the Reading Assignments while answering Study Guide questions
- several hours contributing to the discussion questions
- several hours preparing for and taking exams,
