Final Exam (Remotely Proctored)

IF YOU ARE ASKED FOR AN ACCESS CODE PRIOR TO BEGINNING THIS QUIZ, THEN PLEASE COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING STEPS.

1. CLICK THE "SECURE EXAM PROCTOR" LINK on the left sidebar menu to verify that Proctorio is installed correctly. If Proctorio is not installed, follow the directions to install it. Once Proctorio is installed or if when you click on the link you see the message "Secure Exam Proctor Plugin Successfully Installed! Please return to your course" then return to the quiz and try to start it. 
   
   
2. If the above step was completed, and you are still asked for an access code, then LOG OUT OF CANVAS. Once you have successfully logged out, log back in again and navigate back to the quiz and try to start it. 
   
   
3. If you have attempted both of the above steps, and you are still asked for an access code, then you will need to CONTACT PROCTORIO CUSTOMER SUPPORT by clicking on the "Start Live Chat" button that is located approximately one quarter of the way down the Proctorio Support webpage. 

Note: If you run into any difficulties with this quiz (technical issues, you don't understand the question, etc.) you may phone me at (818) 296 - 9785. Phone calls to this number will only be answered during scheduled quiz and exam times. 

1. This exam contains 16 questions plus two extra credit questions, for a total of 200 points. 
   
   
2. This exam is open note. You may reference any material in your notes or textbook. You may not reference online resources or other people during this exam.
   
   
3. Once you begin, you will have 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the exam.
   
   
4. Be sure you are prepared before you begin the exam. Have plenty of paper, a calculator, and something to write with. Once you begin the exam, you will not be able to exit and return to it later. 
   
   
5. To receive full credit on problem solving questions, complete your work on a separate sheet of paper (making sure to include the correct units and significant figures). Number the questions in sequential order, and present your work in a neat and organized fashion. If I cannot read your work, I cannot grade it and you will receive no credit.
   
   
6. After you have completed the exam, take pictures of your work and convert them to a SINGLE pdf file. Then upload your file to the "Final Exam Work" assignment in the Final Exam Module.
   
   
7. You will have 10 minutes after completing the exam to upload your work. After this point, your work will be considered "late" and WILL NOT BE GRADED.
