This is assignment involves a poem that you will be assigned to read and research
Prompt
As part of our sticks and stones assignment we will be reading, thinking about and discussing a poem. This discussion will happen partially with a group of other classmates who are reading the same poem. The idea of metaphor and concept in architecture, as well as research will be discussed in this module. This is the research component of the Sticks and Stones project. Read and research your poem and start to think about a metaphor that you think the poem might use. This can be your own interpretation, though I urge you to share it with your group.
You will be in a group for this project. You can find your group here, or by linking to the people tab in the left hand navigation column. Your group is a place to share information and research and bounce around ideas. Please meet with them before this portion of the project is due. You can use the group as a way to dive deeper into your understanding of the poem and the poet. You do not need to agree with the group - your metaphors might not match. That is fine.
You can find your poem by clicking on the discussion group that is not greyed out. Your poem will be the only one you are able to join in the discussion about.
