Learning online is not easy, its vital to create a schedule for yourself and stick to it. I recommend that you create a weekly schedule and stick to it.
Here is a template for a weekly schedule for yourself. Remember you only need to stick to it through finals week. This does not need to be forever.
Remember:
1. Make a to do list
2. Add your to do list to a calendar (google calendar or Ical). Also there is a program called Asana Links to an external site. that I use for managing tasks. It may be interesting for those of you who want a more complex system.
3. Make your weekly schedule
My hope is that it will help you to keep your head through these very stressful weeks.
Please follow these directions:
- Start with this Weekly Schedule template Download Weekly Schedule template in Excel and modify it as you wish, or create your own from scratch.
- To start, make a schedule that represents what you're doing currently (or what you expect for this semester). Include all activities, both those with firm schedules (ex. class meetings, work, etc.) and those that are flexible (ex. workouts, socializing, playing video games, etc.). Include all class names/numbers. For activities with flexible schedules assign them an approximate time slot.
