A Brand New, I Really Want to Make Sure Proctorio Is Working "Quiz" (Remotely Proctored)

Directions

This quiz is remotely-proctored using Proctorio. Proctorio is used to verify your identity, and assure that no student has an unfair advantage (another person helping them). To use Proctorio, you need to: 

• utilize the Google Chrome browser. This Practice Quiz provides you with this download and the necessary Proctorio extension to Google Chrome; 
• have a webcam attached to your computer; and 

Troubleshooting

• If you are asked for an access code, or if you receive an error that states, “Invalid Setup: contact your instructor,” do not contact your instructor! This just means that your computer is not properly communicating with Proctorio. You need to follow the directions to download the Proctorio Chrome extension to your computer before the system will allow you to take the quiz. Note that you may need to download the extension again later if and when Proctorio has an update.
• If you have problems, refer to the "Troubleshooting Tips" section of the "What is Proctorio?" page that is posted in the Course Orientation Module. For general questions, use the Ask Here for Help Discussion forum that is posted at the top of each module.
• If problems persist, or if you are kicked out of a quiz or exam due to Internet or browser issues, contact the Proctorio Support Team for assistance.  They are very helpful, and they are available 24/7! You can open a Chat with them through your quiz. 
• Please do not wait until the last minute in case you encounter any issues and need to get support before the deadline.
