This is a reminder that this midterm can be done at any time today, Monday from 12:01am through 11:59pm. You will have one hour to do this exam and the timer starts once you begin it (so make sure that everyone around you knows they need to respect your boundaries, especially for the next hour!).  This exam will be open book, open notes, open study guide (so those of you who have study guides should find them helpful), but it is to be done by yourself in your own words (no other people and no other websites).  I hope each of your are using your study guide and notes and I have set up proctorio to not worry about you looking around!  Each question is worth the same amount of points (except for 5A but that is because it is a double-question) and some of these questions are harder than others so skip the hard ones and come back to them later!  I recommend skipping the hard ones and making it to the end about 40 minutes through so you have enough time to decide which hard questions are worth your time.  I also recommend that you read all the parts of the question you are on (maybe C sparks your memory and helps you answer A).  If you get panicky, sit back, close your eyes and breathe a couple of times.  You are a physical being and you want to make sure your bloodstream isn't filled with stress hormones that make your brain's job harder.  If you haven't yet decide when to start this exam, make sure you are as well-rested as you can when you take it.  Again, you are a physical being and you need your body and your brain at 100%.

Make sure to hit submit when you are finally ready because that will stop the exam.  Once I get these graded I will open it back up and you'll be able to see your answers again and how many points you got and then you'll be able to start the midterm revision process! No homework this week (you'll have done enough) but we will get our Evidence/Interpretation notetaker and the mid-unit quiz due next Friday night along with a shortened amount of material to cover (on the H-R Diagram).  I'll be monitoring e-mail on Monday so please let me know if there are any issues that are causing you trouble.  The extra quiz for today is solely so you can make sure your system works with proctorio before taking the exam for your own piece of mind.
