Embrace the Change: Teaching with AI
Generative AI is here to stay and will transform many forms of work for us and for our students in their future careers. Although we all may have varying concerns, fears, trepidation, or enthusiasm about its potential impacts, we also have the power to harness these technologies to benefit ourselves and our students and to help guide them to use these tools critically in ways that are ethical and effective.
These technologies are challenging instructors to rethink their course learning outcomes and how they can best be achieved in their assignments given the availability of generative AI technology. Every discipline and instructor can and should approach this in a different way! Below are some ideas about ensuring that students are still learning what they need to and taking your use of AI to the next level in order to creatively engage students and even make your job as an instructor a little easier.
