Please take a look at the video in which I try to say say something in general about what logic is all about (there is a separate transcript, since my computer-generated voice sometimes gets garbled), then I want you to read the speech my imaginary Senator Snort gives while running for a second term in office.
What do you think might be examples of what we call fallacies, mistakes in reasoning that are different from just not being truthful. Do you think you see any pattern mistakes right off? What about other problems in Snort's logic?
