This chapter of the LATTC DE Handbook is for many people the most annoying. Why all these regulations that only apply to DE, with nothing equivalent for classroom-based instruction? I probably can't give you a satisfactory answer in a few words here. But, it's our reality, and this section will help you to become conversant with the key state and federal regulations, and accreditation expectations, that help to drive many of the local requirements and procedures for online and hybrid teaching at LATTC.
