ABOUT THIS COURSE 

 

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • Complete all steps in the accounting cycle from journalizing transactions to preparing financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Compute present and future values of corporate bonds and other financial instruments
  • Compute and analyze financial ratios for publicly traded companies

INSTRUCTOR

Hello everyone!  A little about me...

I have been an educator for over twenty years.  In addition to teaching, I operate an accounting practice in the Santa Clarita Valley.  I have the following degrees:  Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Masters of Education and Masters in Business Administration.  I am also a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

Previously, I have worked as an Accountant/Financial Analyst, small business owner (heavy equipment rentals) and real estate investor. 

In my free time, I enjoy mountain biking, traveling, training dogs and gardening.
