Meet your Tutor
ESL 8 Students:
We are honored to have with us this semester as our CET, Course Embedded Tutor, Mr. Azad Azizyan.
Azad has been with Centers for Academic Success (CAS) for two years and is currently Senior Lead Tutor at CAS. He will be interfacing with our course all semester and be available to help students with writing, reading, vocabulary, and grammar.
Azad is anxious to introduce you to various learning techniques that will make it easier to learn English and help you become better critical thinkers, writers, and readers.
You will be in contact with Azad in three ways:
(1) Discussion forums - here Azad will share useful resources to students, and it's also an opportunity for students to share information with other students that may be helpful in our weekly lessons. Discussion forums will be a place to share questions about reading or writing assignments, or have discussions on critical learning techniques dealing with reading, writing, research, grammar, etc. Always check Discussion space for news from Azad.
(2) Azad will hold weekly online Study Sessions. In these Study Sessions you can get help on any homework assignment, or ask questions in relation to our texts, or maybe you might need help on a specific writing or reading assignment. Azad will also highlight a lesson for that week to help better understand the grammar/vocabulary/writing or reading concepts.

Every Thursday (except holidays), 2:30 to 4:00 pm

NET TUTOR ONLINE TUTORING - new service from CAS
Please note: If you are not able to meet with Azad during a certain week, there are more than a dozen tutors on call at CAS to help with your papers or other needs.
On sidebar to the left, students can navigate to Net Tutor Online Tutoring. You will be taken to a page displaying Tutoring services for students. Click on English.
