Understanding the Syllabus
Every class has a Syllabus. A Syllabus is a contract between the student and teacher. It is a place where the requirements of course study for the semester are displayed.
Information important to this class is contained in the Syllabus. Policies and Procedures are covered in respect to items such as grades, assignments, academic honesty, writing essays, and other course policies.
After you view the link below, hit the "back arrow" button on your tab to return to this page.
You will have a QUIZ on what is contained in the Syllabus later in this Module.
NEXT is a document about online Etiquette called Netiquette. Your first assignment will be a Discussion forum and it is important to practice netiquette when commenting to other students.
