You have read Chapters 1-9 of Hidden Figures and have learned a great deal about American history during this period.

You have gained knowledge about pre-reading strategies and have learned how to write in relation to KWL reading strategy of Know, Want, and Learn

 

 What's Next? 

Week Six

We'll be exploring Unit Four (4) of Great Writing 5 in relation to Cause and Effect essays. Your first major paper #1 on Adversity in your own life, will be connected directly to studying Cause and Effect essays in this chapter and indirectly associated with experiences in Hidden Figures.

We will also have more Vocabulary review from GW5 text.

We will resume Hidden Figures, Chapters 10-13, in Week Eight.
