No matter what your major is or where you are going in the future, you will likely participate in groups and organizations that will ask or expect you to lead. Good leaders act mindfully with respect for the people around them.

Instructions
The Leadership Style Indicator Self-Assessment will provide you with an opportunity for assessing and reflecting on enhancing your leadership skills and how you can be an effective leader. Rate yourself using the scoring scale: 1 represents a statement you ‘strongly disagree to 5 represents a statement you ‘strongly agree’ with the question asked. Based on your Leadership Style Indicator write a reflective essay composed of a minimum of 250 words (12 points, typed, double-spaced) describing your leadership style. Include in your response to the following questions: What does leadership mean to you? How are you developing as a leader? What are three (3) things that you can do to continue learning to be a better leader? Do you live by the words you speak? Do you expect the same from yourself as you do from others? You do not need to include the questions, just your response.
