When you have decided which of the two exams you will take to earn your high school equivalency test, follow these steps: 

1. Create an online account to obtain an ID number.
   • HiSET: http://hiset.ets.org/test-takers (Links to an external site.)
   • GED: https://ged.com/# (Links to an external site.)
2. Go to one of the registration sites listed above. Please remember to call the site before showing up in person for special instructions. 
3. Once in the registration office you will choose your appointment day and time, pay the fee, and complete the registration paper work. You will leave with an appointment(s) to come back to take the test.
   • You will need a valid identification
   • Payment
   • HiSET/GED ID number
