Attendance Policy​

  1. Students should plan to spend 12 hours per week engaged in learning activities for this class.  This engagement may be only in Canvas or in a combination of Canvas and Pronto.
  2. In order for students to receive attendance credit, evidence of remote-learning engagement through Canvas and/or Pronto must be documented weekly.  For documentation purposes, the engagement period for each week begins at 8:00 a.m. on Mondays and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Sundays.

Drop Policy​

  1. Students on the active class roster on the first day of class will be dropped if they do not participate in the designated online class activities by 11:59 p.m. on July 21.
  2. Beginning Monday, July 26, students who do not participate in any designated online class activities during any seven-day period (from Monday at 08:00 a.m. to Sunday at 11:59 p.m.) will be considered inactive and dropped from the class.
  3. It is possible for dropped students to be re-enrolled after communicating with the instructor about the reason(s) for not participating.  If there is a waiting list for the class, dropped students who would like to re-enroll will be added to the waiting list and must wait their turn to be re-enrolled.
