Credit assignment: breaking down an editorial (2)

Go online to the Los Angeles Times and select a specific editorial to work with for this exercise. It should be something appearing very recently if not today, and I recommend choosing one that is relatively short. Make sure it is in fact an editorial and not just an op-ed column by seeing whether an author is named for it (editorials are not signed unless to indicate it is by the editorial board).

RECOMMENDED: Do not attempt this exercise until you have reviewed what I mean by a logline and taken the practice test.
