Instructions

Perhaps the most difficult thing in working with the material on deductive patterns is being able to restate information correctly.  This means you must be able to recognize equivalent expressions.  In this quiz there is a statement expressed in a standard form as a premise in either a syllogism or a conditional argument.  You are then given three additional statements, only one of which is not providing the same information.  You are to select that statement.  (Hint: rethink each of the possible answers so that they too are in a standard form.)  Repeat the quiz until you have a perfect score.

When you are finished take a look at the special key for this exercise.
