SYLLABUS REVIEW - GRADED ASSIGNMENT
OBJECTIVE: WRITE TWO PARAGRAPHS - SEE BELOW
For this assignment, you're going to review the SYLLABUS of our class. Look at the questions below and then navigate to left-hand side of our Canvas shell and click on Syllabus. Make notes while reviewing on anything that excites or scares you --for example: writing assignments, reading assignments, rules about deadlines, textbooks, academic honesty and plagiarism, essays and low-stakes writing, finishing workload every week, class schedule, etc. Then hit the "back arrow" and return to this page to write your paragraphs.
Please respond to both questions below in two separate paragraphs and then submit your answers to this assignment by clicking "submit assignment." Start typing your two paragraphs, single or double space. Please leave two spaces between para. 1 and para. 2.
Learning Objectives
- How to understand the specific instructions of a writing assignment and complete it thoroughly
- How to stay on topic by focusing on each question and answering that question completely
- How to write a clear Topic Sentence at the beginning of each paragraph that states the topic of the paragraph
Guidelines
Write two separate paragraphs each containing at least 4-6 sentences.

- What is something that you are excited about based off the syllabus for this class and why?
- What is something that scares you about the class based off of the syllabus and why?

- Always start your paragraphs with a Topic Sentence
For example - TOPIC SENTENCE (para. #1): "After reading the Syllabus, I am excited about learning many things." (then supply details in paragraph from Syllabus)
(para. #2) "After reading the Syllabus, I am nervous about __________" (then supply details in paragraph from Syllabus)
OR - (para. #2) "After reading the Syllabus, I am scared about __________" (then supply details in paragraph from Syllabus)
